About Photos of Alaska

WALL ART AND WHY WE HANG IT

Why do we like a picture and would we hang it on a wall? Well that is a something different for everyone. Over the years my taste has changed and I no longer want just a decoration, I want something that I can relate to when I look at it. Consequently what is on my wall have a memory attached, such as my grandmothers nursing diploma alongside a photo of her, the year, 1900. I have other relics from my past on the walls as well.

And then again, sometimes I just want something I like, that brings a smile to my face. Or an image of where I would like to go, but haven’t yet had the chance.

But mostly I have photographs I have taken that are both beautiful and memorable. It is in this vein that I have started Alaskan Photos and our other travel photo sites.

All of our work is limited run archival photo prints printed on the best medium available and highest resolution possible for the individual work. Each print is then signed and numbered by the artist. Prints are made to order.

Prints are unframed as the artist feels framing for this style of work is the basic poster frame, but individual galleries and buyers may desire a more traditional matted and framed presentation.

For gallery pricing or request to exhibit our work, please fill out of quick form with your request and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
